I totally know what you're saying. When I moved east, I thought I'd moved to Hawaii. Truly. I'd say to Ontarians, "You call this winter??? You have NO idea." You're a brave and hardy soul. Spring is coming.
We've been getting strange weather lately. In the last month we've had lots of snow, then -20something (that's excluding windchill), then more snow, then mild weather (in the +4 area), then rain, then more cold weather with freezing rain, now we're back to -7ish. It definitely has not been a typical January for us.
